Great starter printer!

Dora Ding is the consummate professional. I made an error on my shipping information and she went the extra mile to try to resolve my issue even though the error was my fault. Her communication is excellent. She really helps build your reputation as a leading 3D printer company. Thanks Fokoos and Dora!

It’s a great printer! It doesn’t everything that it claims. I can’t wait for more support to be added through cura and prusa. As of now I’m using the fokoos slicer.

Easy to setup! I am new to 3D printing. First print was perfect. I am pleased with purchase. Machine shows it was built with care.

The packaging was thorough. The setup was fast. The included filament, while a small roll, was of good quality. I printed several nice looking prints on this machine with no hassle. Then, the bed became warped to where I could not print successfully. I let the machine sit until I had to to mount an auto-bed-level sensor. Accessing the internals of the machine to attach the sensor was easy enough. Getting the firmware was a different story. However, recently Fokoos put the files to build the firmware on their github page. I acquired those, modified them for touch-level sensor, built the firmware and put it on the machine. After choosing a sensor mount and dialing in the settings, no issues since.
I would recommend this machine if you are looking for a 235x235 FDM printer. The machine is well-designed and has several extras that you wouldn't find in, say, an Ender 3 such as direct-drive extruder and dual-z.

Absolutely the best printer for under $300. I have never seen, or could have even believed, that a printer could do this level of quality for this price point. I am blown away. I bought an Ender 3 V2 and upgraded it to less than what this has for around $500. You will not get an easier set-up or better value out of the box on any other FDM printer. Is it quiet? YES! Fan noise, yes. But they all have that. Now as far as adding features I don't know. I ordered a BLTouch. I will re-do this review when I get it and can make it work so people know if it can actually work. There is a lie here. They do not have their own Slicer! That file is blank on the card. Now I did not try it on my Mac or Linux but on Windows it does not exist. I used Ender 3 settings on Cura removing the side "bed hold down clip" to keep it from hitting that. You can re-write your G-code to move that first nozzle cleaning wipe in further, or just do what I did and place the four hold-downs on the front and back and just roll with it. Other than that this thing is awesome. I'm worried about support as I have seen many bad reviews about that although that is a common problem with start-ups. If we support them then they may take over the market and problems like this may disappear. Overall, buy this printer. Even if you are a seasoned printer like me you will love it!!!!!!!!

This is one amazing printer! As someone who owns several in various stages of operability, this is the first one that produced a perfect print on the first try. That hasn't happened with printers 3x it's price! The ease of setup isn't only for beginners, either. It was a literal pleasure to get it printing within minutes of unboxing. You guys hit a grand slam with this one...congratulations and thank you!

Unparalleled experience! Personally I have trialled many 3D printers and have a additive manufacturing company of my own.
I can promise the experience you get from this printer is next to none! it’s a must buy for any level of 3D printing customer ! I will only be buying Fokoos from now on.

Great printer for the price! Took it apart to see what it had for components and was pleasantly surprised. Easy to set up and ready to go. I will be suggesting this printer to anyone who asks for now on.

The Odin is a great machine for the money and perfect for those just starting out. It is not the cheapest printer out there but is a great value. It has the features and quality to make stunning prints. Other printers in this price range don't have dual Z's or a direct drive extruder. The UI is simple (easy to use) but has all the features needed. The parts and designs are excellent quality.
This is my forth printer and I wanted something nice right out of the box, compared to my other heavily modified but finicky printers. I wanted a fool (me) proof printer and I got it in the Odin.
If you are just starting out and you are thinking other printers have auto bed leveling... my opinion is an automatic bed leveling sensor is required on a 235mm print bed. It is easy to level manually. Save getting a leveling sensors for when, and if you need something with a large bed (300mm+).

I recently decided to try my hand at 3D printing. I had no knowledge at all of where to start. I wanted to spend less than $300. I never dreamed that I could get a quality machine for less than $300. I signed onto a couple of Facebook pages that users of 3D printers are featured. I decided very quickly to get the FOKOOS Odin-5 F3. Now that I have been using it for a couple of weeks I am constantly more impressed. The ease of use and quality of output are better than I could have hoped. This is an amazing machine!
